The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Roberts.
Auditore ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Roberts shoots in but Auditore avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Auditore scores with a decent looking hook.
Roberts drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Roberts takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Auditore lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roberts at a distance.
Auditore throws the kick towards the body but Roberts avoids it.
Roberts misses with a takedown
and Auditore makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocky Roberts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roberts walks straight into a right hand from Auditore - that's dropped him! Auditore jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Roberts from any more punishment! Roberts complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

After winning the bout, Ezio Auditore thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
