Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Emanuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Cantarini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Emanuel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Wizard by Black Sabbath. Cantarini comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ellens dritter Gesang kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cantarini lands with a hook. Emanuel tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Cantarini decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cantarini stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cantarini lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Emanuel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Emanuel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
