King has chosen It's a fight!!! as his entrance music. Canyon Mikel Scott King is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agueno swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

King gets in close and instigates a clinch.
King working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
King goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

King manages to break the clinch.
King throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
King missing with a left hand there. Agueno was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
King slips a jab from Agueno.
Agueno uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from King.
Agueno displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as King throws out the jab.
Agueno swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling King to counter with a crisp jab.
Agueno throws a right and a left that King avoids nicely.
Agueno misses with a looping left.
Agueno smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
King connects with a single shot there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A looping hook to the body misses from King. Agueno does a little dance to reset his feet.

King drives through and clinches with Agueno against the cage.
King lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

King is pushing Agueno up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
King lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Agueno wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but King has him pressed against the cage.

King manages to break the clinch.
Agueno takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Agueno manages to avoid it.

King fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Agueno, pushing him back against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Agueno throws a jab but it's blocked by King.
Agueno jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Agueno gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Agueno working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from King.
Agueno can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as King controls the pace.

Let's hope that King has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Canyon Mikel Scott King wasn't active enough on the ground.
No joy there for Agueno, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

King shoots in looking for a takedown. Agueno tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Agueno manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well King has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
