The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antunes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Shak throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Antunes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shak shoots in and bounces Antunes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Antunes is breathing heavily.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Shak stands and steps away. Antunes gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Shak closes the distance looking to clinch
and Antunes counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shak lands a good elbow from the bottom.
Shak looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Antunes is defending well. Shak quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Antunes has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Shak celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
