The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Barra moves into the clinch.

Fisher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Barra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fisher is fending him off so far but Barra persists. Nope, Fisher circles away and we're back to standing.
Barra throws a hook to the side of Fisher's head but Fisher sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Barra is looking to clinch but Fisher is avoiding it.

Barra tries to free his leg and advance position but Fisher is retaining full guard.

Barra postures up in Fisher's guard and throws a big left but Fisher blocks it.
Barra looking to sit in guard and control but Fisher gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Fisher not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Fisher postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Fisher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fisher wants to stand but Barra has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Fisher got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barra has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fisher has managed to get both his arms back between Barra's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Barra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fisher doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fisher manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fisher is sitting in close to Barra's body. Barra has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Fisher is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Fisher is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Barra.
