PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed BruceLee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chew Bacca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bacca comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Chewbacca Noise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bacca shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. BruceLee is trying to defend but Bacca finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bacca in particular looking to stall.

BruceLee scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bacca manages to mount him!

Bacca takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
BruceLee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bacca on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bacca is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. BruceLee can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Bacca cracks BruceLee with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bacca has hold of BruceLee's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and BruceLee manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Bacca throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! BruceLee has his hands clasped together but Bacca breaks the hold and BruceLee is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Bacca!
