Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kahlua Zordick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George has chosen Lamb of God - Descending as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kahlua Zordick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Furious George!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zordick throws a leg kick which misses George's front leg but catches the back leg as George tries to avoid it.
Nice shot by George.
Nice takedown defense from Zordick. No joy for George on that attempt.
George just misses with a punch to the body.
George throws a hook but Zordick avoids it easily.
Furious George seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
George tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zordick sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten George somewhat.
George leaves Zordick with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
George misses with a straight right.
Zordick throws a chopping leg kick but George manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Zordick staying out of range there.
Zordick slips under a jab from George.
Zordick lands a leg kick that knocks George off balance momentarily.

George shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than George was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Zordick manages to regain half guard. Good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zordick might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Zordick is pressing down on George's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
George is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
George is pushing down on Zordick's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zordick is fighting to maintain full guard but George has managed to sneak the leg through.

George is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zordick defends it well.

Zordick is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Zordick is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of George's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take George's back!
Zordick is trying to stick to George's back but George is turning into Zordick. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Zordick's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by George.
George stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zordick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

George avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Furious George will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Zordick avoids the body shot from George.
George shoots for a double leg takedown but Zordick sprawls well. He's pushed George's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A clash of legs there as George blocks the low kick.
Zordick cracks the inside of George's front leg.
Zordick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. George tries to avoid it but Zordick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag George to the ground. George escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A slow jab from Zordick misses its intended target.
Zordick uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from George.
George takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

George fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zordick sprawls well initially but George persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Zordick is not content to let George control the position.
Zordick is looking to control George's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zordick avoid being mounted?

George wants to control but Zordick is keeping him busy.

George wants to work for an arm triangle but Zordick is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
George is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

George is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Zordick has managed to free his arm - good work.

George ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Zordick lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
George swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

George lands a nice hook to Zordick's body. Zordick takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

George looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Zordick!

Zordick is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Zordick tries to hold on but George pushes him away.

George is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Zordick can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

George is landing with some decent strikes but Zordick is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Zordick is desperately trying to improve his position but George has a good base and remains in mount.
George has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
George throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

George is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Zordick has managed to escape the submission attempt.

George is trying to control the action in half guard but Zordick is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Zordick has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. George is working away from the top position though.

Zordick is staying active underneath George, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Furious George is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
George is looking to take a break and control but Zordick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with George in particular looking to stall.

Furious George comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well George has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
