The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ahmed.
Itsuma throws a lazy head kick
and Ahmed counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Itsuma stuffs the takedown attempt from Ahmed. Ahmed gets slowly back to his feet.
Itsuma avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tyreek Ahmed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ahmed gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Itsuma to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Itsuma throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ahmed's waist but Ahmed gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Itsuma off to one side.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyreek Ahmed will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Ahmed tries a head kick but it misses.
Itsuma misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Itsuma takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ahmed connects with a leg kick. Itsuma looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Ahmed pushes Itsuma up against the cage in a clinch.
Ahmed is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ahmed goes for a takedown attempt but Itsuma pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ahmed tries to close the distance and clinch but Itsuma swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Itsuma escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ahmed shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Itsuma eats them both and turns towards Ahmed to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Itsuma looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ahmed is fending him off so far but Itsuma persists. Nope, Ahmed circles away and we're back to standing.
Tyreek Ahmed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshiriro Itsuma.
Itsuma takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Horrible takedown by Ahmed or perhaps it was just good defense by Itsuma which made him look bad.

Itsuma postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Ahmed to stand up.

Itsuma is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ahmed's half guard.

Itsuma is stalling here. Ahmed is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Itsuma seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ahmed has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Itsuma is looking to reverse the position.
Itsuma really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ahmed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ahmed decides to stand back up.
Itsuma fails with the takedown.
Ahmed shoots in for a takedown but Itsuma shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Itsuma throws a body punch but Ahmed moves out of range.
Ahmed connects with a body shot.

Ahmed shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ahmed was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Itsuma wants to hold on but Ahmed pushes him away.
Tyreek Ahmed is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ahmed content just to control the position here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyreek Ahmed.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ahmed, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
