Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mibu Kyoshiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rizer Mcmelon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyoshiro comes to the cage accompanied by You're The Best Around. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcmelon with a lazy takedown attempt

and Kyoshiro counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mcmelon wants to improve his position but Kyoshiro is controlling well.
Kyoshiro landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Mcmelon keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Kyoshiro wants to get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kyoshiro throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Mcmelon to regain full guard.
Mcmelon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Mcmelon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kyoshiro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kyoshiro seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Mcmelon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Mcmelon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mibu Kyoshiro.
Kyoshiro punishes Mcmelon's body with a nice straight punch.

Mcmelon takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kyoshiro scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kyoshiro throws a monster overhand right that drops Mcmelon! Kyoshiro follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
