The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munster on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Munster takes one on the button.
Munster throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kokkalis motions for Munster to come forward. Kokkalis throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Munster misses with a head kick.
Kokkalis throws a looping overhand right but Munster ducks down to avoid it.
Kokkalis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kokkalis throws a lazy right hand but Munster sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Munster throws a series of punches but Kokkalis avoids them all with ease.
Munster goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Vangelis Kokkalis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kokkalis has hold of Munster's hands but Munster slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Munster is nestled in close to Kokkalis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kokkalis holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Munster lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Munster has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Munster wants to free his trapped foot but Kokkalis is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Munster pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kokkalis wants to hold on but Munster pushes him away.
Munster lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kokkalis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Munster has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Munster and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Munster connects with a nice short shot to Kokkalis's temple.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kokkalis is looking for a triangle here but Munster uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Well Munster has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
