Pires comes to the cage accompanied by Runes to My Memory - Amon Amarth. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mofo swings for the body but Pires moves out of range.
Pires shoots in but no luck this time.

Pires shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pires showed some decent athleticism there.

Pires is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mofo is just riding it out for now. Pires eventually gives up the hold.
