The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauna scores with a hook.
Sauna shoots in looking for a takedown. Mad Cow tries to sprawl out of it but Sauna keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mad Cow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sauna misses with a hook to the ribs.

Sauna tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mad Cow's elbow.
Mad Cow changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sauna fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mad Cow sends Sauna crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mad Cow is motioning to the referee to let Sauna up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Jeff Mad Cow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chael Sauna.

Sauna takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Mad Cow counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sauna's knee momentarily.
Sauna fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mad Cow, pushing him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sauna lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mad Cow or not.

Mad Cow gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sauna.

Sauna throws a wild hook but Mad Cow just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Sauna gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Mad Cow raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
