Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diesel Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes to the cage accompanied by 3 little pigs. Power has chosen Seitsemän veljestä 3 as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power with a hook.

Power shoots in and gets a takedown into Jenkins's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Power working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jenkins's head.
Power wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving.
Jenkins is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Power is controlling him.
Power postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Power tries to free his leg and advance position but Jenkins is retaining full guard.
Jenkins is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Jenkins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Power can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jenkins wants to sweep here but Power controlling him for the moment.
Power loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Jenkins is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
A short left from Power.
Jenkins manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Power breaks from the clinch.
Power misses with a takedown
and Jenkins counters with a straight right hand.
Jenkins misses with a wild body shot.
Power will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Power swats away the attempt to clinch by Jenkins.
Power cracks Jenkins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Power checks the leg kick nicely there.
Jenkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Power is just out of range.
Jenkins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jenkins stuffs the takedown.
Jeremy Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diesel Power.
Jenkins tries to clinch but Power moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Power tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jenkins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Power somewhat.
Jenkins shoots for a double leg takedown but Power sprawls well. He's pushed Jenkins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jenkins shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Power counters with a stiff right hand.
Power shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jenkins as he avoids it easily.

Jenkins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jenkins with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Jenkins tries to land knees in the clinch but Power avoids the damage to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Power creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Jenkins tries to circle away but Power has him pinned against the cage.
Jenkins misses with a knee to the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Power.
Power tries to land a knee to the head but Jenkins blocks with his arms.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jenkins is trying to break the clinch but Power has him pressed against the cage.

Power lands a takedown into guard.
Jenkins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Power postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jenkins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Power, into his guard.
Jenkins postures up in Power's guard and throws a big left but Power blocks it.
Power wants to sweep but no luck.
Jenkins landing with the ground and pound.
Jenkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Power is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jenkins wants to pass the guard but Power is keeping the position.
Jenkins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Power manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Power shoots and misses
and Jenkins counters with a head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jenkins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Power looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jenkins grinds an elbow into Power's temple.

Jenkins goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Power rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jenkins's guard! Nice work there by Power!
Power is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Power lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Power trying to control the position from guard on top but Jenkins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Power trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's five minutes gone in the round.
Power sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Jenkins wants to stand but Power is controlling the position.
Power keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jenkins's head.
Jenkins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Power's guard.

Power is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jenkins is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenkins has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Power to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jenkins is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Power pulls down on the head and he's put Jenkins to sleep! This one is all over!
