Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Hanrahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill Hanrahan looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bill Hanrahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanrahan avoids a kick to the body.
Hanrahan throws a head kick but Kelly moves out of range.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hanrahan but Hanrahan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kelly shoots for a takedown but Hanrahan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hanrahan instigates a clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hanrahan.
Kelly drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hanrahan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bill Hanrahan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Kelly.

Hanrahan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kelly tries to clinch there but Hanrahan circles away.
Kelly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kelly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hanrahan was well out of range. Poor timing from Kelly.
Kelly fails to land the takedown.

Hanrahan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kelly to the ground. Hanrahan is now in Kelly's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kelly looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hanrahan scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Hanrahan is breathing heavily.
Hanrahan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Kelly tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kelly trying to keep a closed guard but Hanrahan is proving a slippery customer.
Kelly bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hanrahan's guard.

Kelly tries to free his leg and advance position but Hanrahan is retaining full guard.

Hanrahan has his feet on Kelly's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Kelly tries a low kick but Hanrahan avoids it.

Kelly changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hanrahan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
