Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butch Jerico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Itsanin Vasion!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasion looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jerico closes the distance and clinches up with Vasion, looking for a takedown. Jerico pushes Vasion against the cage but Vasion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vasion stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vasion wants it to stay on the feet.
Vasion takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jerico takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Butch Jerico has been cut.
A chopping leg kick lands by Vasion.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vasion tests Jerico's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Vasion misses with an attempted mid kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vasion.
Jerico is breathing heavily.

Vasion lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Vasion scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jerico doesn't seem bothered though.
Vasion throws a head kick that misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Vasion. That's going to slow Jerico down.

Vasion explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Donk. Vasion catches Jerico right on the button with a cross.
Vasion misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jerico takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Vasion lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jerico's sensitive parts.
Jerico takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vasion sends Jerico crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Vasion is motioning to the referee to let Jerico up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Jerico is rocked!
Jerico on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Vasion. Vasion obviously looking to wear him down.
Oh Jerico is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vasion digs a good body shot into Jerico's ribs.
Vasion misses with a body kick.
Jerico seems to have got his legs back now.
Vasion connects with a body shot.
Jerico moves out of range of the body kick.
Jerico is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Vasion throws a head kick but Jerico moves out of range.
Vasion throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Vasion throws a sloppy head kick and Jerico moves out of range easily.
Vasion fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Vasion chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Vasion pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vasion lands a glancing blow to the side of Jerico's head.
Vasion throws a half hearted mid kick.
Vasion blocks a head kick by Jerico.
Itsanin Vasion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jerico shoots in for a takedown but Vasion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Butch Jerico. That's going to take a lot out of him.
An inside leg kick lands from Vasion.
Jerico tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vasion swivels and escapes.
Vasion buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vasion lands a big head kick that sends Jerico tumbling to the mat! Vasion takes a step backwards and waves Jerico back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Butch Jerico's cut is getting worse.
Jerico chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vasion can pounce on him.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jerico wants to stay close but Vasion steps back to make room for something. Jerico seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Vasion and Jerico drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
