Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Blue Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Kawasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Blue Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee Kawasaki!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel throws a wild body kick that Kawasaki sees coming a mile off.
Horrible takedown by Kawasaki or perhaps it was just good defense by Steel which made him look bad.
Steel misses with a wild combination.
Kawasaki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Steel but Steel pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lee Kawasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kawasaki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Blue Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Kawasaki.
Steel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kawasaki looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Steel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kawasaki is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Steel has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Steel!

Steel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Steel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Steel working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kawasaki is trying to get back to half guard.

Steel goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kawasaki has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Steel but great work by Kawasaki.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kawasaki is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Steel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Steel is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lee Kawasaki will probably get the nod.

Steel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Steel is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kawasaki defends well.

Steel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kawasaki defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steel looking for a sweep but Kawasaki has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Kawasaki manages to capitalize on a mistake by Steel to take his back!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kawasaki has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Steel has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Steel tries to escape the position.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kawasaki is working for a rear naked choke. Steel is not defending it well and Kawasaki has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Steel refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Steel's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lee Kawasaki!
