Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dana Whyte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mang Hang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whyte kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Imagine - John Lennon. Mang Hang will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hang swinging wilding here.
Hang tries to land a leg kick but Whyte saw it coming and moves away.
Hang throws a body punch but Whyte moves out of range.
Whyte fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Whyte has a takedown stuffed.
Hang comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hang looks to land a combination but Whyte avoids it well.
A punch combination from Hang misses.
Dana Whyte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Whyte fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dana Whyte. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Whyte shoots for a takedown but Hang saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Whyte slips a jab and a cross from Hang.
Hang lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Hang loads up on a big right hand but Whyte slips the punch.
Oh Whyte is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Whyte closes the distance and clinches up with Hang, looking for a takedown. Whyte pushes Hang against the cage but Hang circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Some wild striking there from Hang.
Whyte seems to have got his legs back now.
Mang Hang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Whyte decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Whyte lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hang tries to roll over but Whyte keeps him under control.
Whyte is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Hang is not content to let Whyte control the position.
Whyte thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Hang is trying to maintain the position but Whyte is very close to passing his half guard.
Hang is looking for a sweep. Whyte is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Whyte has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Whyte lands a big shot there that rocks Hang but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Mang Hang has been cut.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hang can do anything to dispel that myth.
Whyte lands a nice shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Whyte postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hang looks a forlorn figure.

That has opened up Mang Hang's cut even more.
Hang tries to reverse the position but Whyte maintains control.
Hang is still in real trouble! Can Whyte finish him?
Whyte working the ground and pound effectively.
Hang seems to have recovered his senses.

Mang Hang's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mang Hang's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
