Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edzon Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikola Djukic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barbosa comes into the arena with Never Gonna Stop blaring out of the sound system. Djukic has chosen Juice - Sam as his entrance music. Nikola Djukic told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Djukic misses.
Djukic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barbosa.
Djukic looks to land a combination but Barbosa avoids it well.
Both fighters circling a little - Djukic finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Djukic swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Barbosa.

It looks like Edzon Barbosa has been cut.

enabling Djukic to counter with a crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barbosa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Djukic counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Djukic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barbosa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Barbosa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Djukic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Djukic scores with a head kick. Barbosa tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Djukic moves in looking to clinch but Barbosa pushes him off.

Djukic dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Edzon Barbosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barbosa has his takedown stuffed
and Djukic counters with a good low kick that Barbosa was not able to check.
Barbosa is breathing heavily.
Barbosa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Djukic as he jumps to the side.

Nikola Djukic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
