The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ople.
Johnson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Blas Ople has been cut.
Ople displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnson throws out the jab.
Johnson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ople lands with a kick to the temple. Johnson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Ople walks forward, straight into a front kick from Johnson.
William Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ople is breathing heavily.
Johnson tries to clinch but Ople is having none of it.
Johnson misses with a head kick.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Johnson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Ople is looking to close the distance but Johnson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Ople crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Ople is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
