Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samurai Moonwalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stein Bach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samurai Moonwalker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stein Bach!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moonwalker looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bach!
Moonwalker controlling the position easily from mount.
Bach tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Moonwalker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Moonwalker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bach manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Moonwalker just content to control the position.
Bach is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Moonwalker off and has taken his back!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moonwalker has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Moonwalker is in a bad position with Bach working for a choke. Moonwalker manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Bach has his foot on Moonwalker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moonwalker works his way back into a safe position though.

Moonwalker passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Moonwalker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Moonwalker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Moonwalker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Bach is looking for a sweep.

Moonwalker stands up.

No luck for Moonwalker with that takedown attempt.

Bach defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Moonwalker.
Moonwalker putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Bach keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moonwalker looking to control and managing it successfully.

Bach is looking to improve his position but Moonwalker isn't that keen on the idea.
Moonwalker content just to control the position here.
Moonwalker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bach is looking to escape.
Moonwalker postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bach looks a forlorn figure.
Moonwalker is landing with some decent strikes but Bach is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bach keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
A nice elbow there by Moonwalker.

Moonwalker trying to control but Bach is having none of it.

Moonwalker has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Samurai Moonwalker dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Nice sprawl there from Bach as Moonwalker shoots in.

Moonwalker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Moonwalker lands in his opponent's guard.

Moonwalker's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bach escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moonwalker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bach is breathing heavily.
Moonwalker stays in close to Bach's body and controls the position.

Moonwalker is in close to Bach's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Moonwalker stopping the sweep attempt from Bach.
Moonwalker trying to control the position from guard on top but Bach is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Moonwalker wants to pass the guard but Bach is keeping the position.
Moonwalker wants to control from the top but Bach keeps moving.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Samurai Moonwalker just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Moonwalker pushing down on Bach's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Moonwalker is taking a breather. Bach says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Bach wants to get back to full guard.
Moonwalker content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Bach is looking for a sweep. Moonwalker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ground and pound from Moonwalker.
Bach is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bach is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Moonwalker pulls his head out easily.

Moonwalker is working for a submission of some sort.
Bach wants to improve his position but Moonwalker is controlling well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bach moves out of range as Moonwalker throws a body kick.
Bach stuffs the takedown.
Moonwalker wants to clinch.
Bach misses with a takedown

and Moonwalker counters with a shoot takedown. Bach fights it but they end up in guard.
Moonwalker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moonwalker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bach has an active guard here but Moonwalker has managed to pass into half guard.
Bach gets back to full guard.

Bach is looking to sinch up a triangle. Moonwalker throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bach's body to avoid the submission. Bach has instead reached around Moonwalker's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bach arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Stein Bach!
