Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergeant Strings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elijah Hoffman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffman connects with a right hand. Strings shakes it off.
Elijah Hoffman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hoffman takes a swing at Strings's ribcage but misses.
Strings lands a leg kick that knocks Hoffman off balance momentarily.
Hoffman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Strings on the side of the head.
Strings tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hoffman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Strings.
Hoffman shoots in looking for a takedown but Strings manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hoffman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

It looks like Sergeant Strings has been cut.
Hoffman checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
The fighters circling - Hoffman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hoffman misses with a right hand
and Strings counters with a head kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hoffman falls off balance throwing a combination
and Strings counters with a good low kick that Hoffman was not able to check.
Strings throws a low kick but Hoffman moves out of range easily.
Strings moves out of range of the strikes.
Hoffman misses with a right hand
and Strings counters with a left and a right that stings Hoffman.
Strings lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Strings throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Strings misses with a head kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Strings as he connects with a hook.
Hoffman shoots in and drives through. Strings sprawls well.
A left lands for Hoffman.
Hoffman tried to score with a low kick but Strings checks it.
Hoffman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Strings gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Strings wants to stand up but Hoffman is controlling him.

Hoffman lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Hoffman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Strings is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Strings has escaped and now he's on top!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hoffman tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Strings has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hoffman is proving hard to escape from.

Strings is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hoffman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Strings is looking to defend but Hoffman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Strings! Hoffman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Strings taps out and this one is all over!
