Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Picker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphael Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Picker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raphael Stone!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone gets a clinch.

Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch but Picker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Picker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Picker is defended easily by Stone.
Picker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Picker somewhat.
Nice cross by Stone.

Stone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Picker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stone wants to stand up but Picker is controlling him.

Picker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Picker is trying to control. Stone wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Stone is positioning himself well to prevent Picker advancing to mount.
Picker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stone's head.
Picker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Picker is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stone sees it coming and defends easily.
Picker is stalling here. Stone is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Picker seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Stone has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Picker dodges the ground and pound from Stone.

Stone wants to stand but Picker has his arm trapped.
Picker is looking to reverse the position.

Stone decides to stand back up.
Picker looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Picker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stone throws a one two combo.
Raphael Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Stone stuffs the takedown.

Stone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stone stalks Picker and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Picker's face. Picker staggers backwards, shaken.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stone is looking to chop away at Picker's legs.
Picker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stone defends it nicely.
Picker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Stone counters with a straight right hand.
Stone throws a series of strikes that have Picker backpedaling.
Picker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Stone scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.


Picker is rocked!
Stone tries to clinch up

and Picker counters with a shoot takedown. Stone fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stone has Picker pulled in close to control his posture.
Stone keeping full guard, as Picker tries to pass.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raphael Stone dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Stone tries to close the distance and clinch but Picker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stone lands a nice hook to Picker's body. Picker takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice takedown defense from Stone. No joy for Picker on that attempt.
Stone jabs Picker right on the nose. Picker blinks but takes it well.
Stone cracks Picker with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


It looks like Shane Picker has been cut.
Picker shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Picker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Picker shoots for a takedown but Stone saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Picker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stone attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Stone misses with a two punch combination.
Picker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Picker takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stone looks for the body kick but Picker saw that one coming.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Picker shoots and misses
and Stone counters with a series of strikes. Picker will be more careful next time no doubt.

Stone scores with a jab to the head.
Nice shot by Stone.
Oh Picker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A shot to the liver by Stone. Beautiful body shot.

Stone drives through and clinches with Picker against the cage.

Stone manages to break the clinch.
Picker seems to have got his legs back now.

Oooooh!!! Stone has knocked Picker down with a huge combo! Stone steps away and waves a wobbly Picker back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone connects with a nice cross there... Picker is looking wobbly and Stone recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Picker to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Stone jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Raphael Stone!
After the fight, Raphael Stone was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
