Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nelli Kuukeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nike Mombai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuukeri moves away from the strike by Mombai.
A shot to the body from Kuukeri misses
and Mombai counters with a good, hard body kick but Kuukeri shrugs it off.
Kuukeri swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mombai counters with a big head kick but Kuukeri shrugs it off.
Kuukeri throws out a loose jab but Mombai uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kuukeri throws a looping overhand right but Mombai ducks down to avoid it.

Kuukeri changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mombai looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mombai tries to buck Kuukeri off but Kuukeri is having none of it.
Mombai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuukeri. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mombai is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kuukeri has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Kuukeri goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mombai has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kuukeri but great work by Mombai.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kuukeri gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Kuukeri throws out a loose jab but Mombai uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mombai tries to close the distance and clinch but Kuukeri swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kuukeri shoots in for a takedown but Mombai shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mombai dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kuukeri. That did some damage!

and Mombai counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kuukeri is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mombai lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kuukeri has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kuukeri and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mombai lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mombai.

Nike Mombai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

Nike Mombai decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
