The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dimagiba.
West throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dimagiba's waist but Dimagiba gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing West off to one side.

West shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dimagiba napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dimagiba dodges the ground and pound from West.
The strikes coming from West are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

West is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dimagiba is trying to escape and West transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dimagiba is forced to tap! Nice work there by West! Very nice indeed!
