The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Assante drops Maia with a beautiful combination! Maia stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Assante is looking for the KO!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Assante sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Maia's defenses. It connects perfectly with Maia's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
