Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Lee Paris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar thuds his right hand into Paris's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.


It looks like Johnny Lee Paris has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Paris.
Lesnar ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lesnar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Paris stuffs the takedown attempt from Lesnar. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet.
Paris jabs Lesnar to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lesnar throws a shot from downtown. Paris moves away and avoids it.
Lesnar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paris staying out of range there.
Lesnar takes a swing at Paris's ribcage but misses.
Paris lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Lesnar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Paris fails with a takedown attempt.
Paris scores with a shot to the body.

Lesnar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Paris is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lesnar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Paris tests Lesnar's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Paris scores with the left hand. Lesnar knows he should have avoided that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lesnar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Paris counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Paris shoots in looking for a takedown. Lesnar tries to sprawl out of it but Paris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lesnar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Paris misses with a wild body shot.

Paris uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lesnar has time to react.

and Lesnar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A head kick misses from Paris.
Lesnar dives in and grabs Paris's left leg, looking for a takedown. Paris pushes down on Lesnar's head and hops out.
Johnny Lee Paris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar.

Paris connects with a right hand. Lesnar shakes it off.

and Lesnar counters with a single leg into guard. Paris didn't expect that.
Paris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lesnar is one step ahead there.

Lesnar sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Paris lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lesnar!
Lesnar is working to get back to half guard.

Lesnar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Lesnar is in a horrible position here. Paris smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Lesnar wants to control but Paris is having none of it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lesnar tries to reverse the position but Paris maintains control.

Paris gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lesnar moves out of range as Paris strikes.
Paris connects with an inside leg kick.
Lesnar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Lesnar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Paris is trying to defend but Lesnar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lesnar is pressing down on Paris's thigh, looking to free his foot. Paris is holding on for now.
Paris regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Lesnar.

Lesnar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Paris has Lesnar pulled in close to control his posture.
Lesnar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Lesnar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lesnar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Paris has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lesnar has managed to get both his arms back between Paris's legs - danger averted.

Paris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lesnar is looking to advance position but Paris has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Paris can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lesnar is looking to escape.
Paris cracks Lesnar with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lesnar keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Paris breaks from Lesnar's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lesnar is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Lesnar is trying to escape the mount.

Paris sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Lesnar is looking to improve his position but Paris isn't that keen on the idea.
Paris lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Lesnar squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Paris landing strikes, looking to finish!
Paris lands a big elbow - Lesnar is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Lesnar is forced to tap out!
