Boa jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ribeiro is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ribeiro and Boa has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Ribeiro might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boa kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Ribeiro does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Ribeiro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Boa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ribeiro moves away.

Some bone on bone action there as Boa checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Ribeiro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Boa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ribeiro is defended easily by Boa.

Ribeiro throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
