Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Limon Portokalov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Sparger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Portokalov's entrance music is Breaking Benjamin-I Will Not Bow. A fine choice. Sparger is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pledge Allegiance to the Swag by T.I. feat. Rick Ross. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparger lands a nice shot that snaps Portokalov's head back.

It looks like Limon Portokalov has been cut.

Portokalov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sparger moves away.
Portokalov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sparger.
Portokalov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sparger counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Sloppy strikes from Portokalov. Those never looked like landing.

Sparger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
