Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rage Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haer Dalis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blade comes into the arena with Nows My Time blaring out of the sound system. Dalis has chosen On the Warpath as his entrance music. Haer Dalis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Blade as he checks the leg kick.
Dalis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dalis throws a shot to the body.
A punch combination from Dalis misses.
Dalis thows a body shot but no joy.
Blade lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Dalis goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dalis throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A telegraphed right hand from Dalis misses the target.
Dalis wants to clinch.
Blade blocks a low kick nicely.
Blade gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Rage Blade has been cut.
Blade uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dalis.
Dalis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Dalis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Dalis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dalis scores with a hook to the body. Blade takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Dalis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blade. That did some damage!

Dalis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blade looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That's time! Blade's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Blade wants to land a leg kick but Dalis is out of range.
Blade misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Dalis. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Dalis looks to land a right hand but Blade moved out of range.
Blade takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dalis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blade manages to avoid it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dalis.
Blade drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Dalis motions for Blade to come forward. Dalis throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Dalis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rage Blade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haer Dalis.
Blade swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dalis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blade as he avoids it easily.
Blade connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Blade ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dalis moves away.

Blade ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dalis.
Blade misses with a body shot.
Blade works the jab nicely.
Blade uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dalis has time to react.
Dalis walks into a jab.
Blade ducks under a wild hook from Dalis.
Dalis tries to close the distance and clinch but Blade swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Blade cracks Dalis with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Haer Dalis seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Blade throws a chopping leg kick but Dalis manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Dalis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blade.
Blade with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dalis looks to land a right hand but Blade moved out of range.
Blade keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Blade dips to his left and cracks Dalis with an uppercut!

The fight stays on the outside here - Dalis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dalis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blade as he avoids it easily.

Blade fails to land with a series of punches.
Blade tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dalis was well out of range. Poor timing from Blade.

Blade gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dalis to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dalis stands and throws Blade's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dalis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Blade sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blade dodges the ground and pound from Dalis.

Dalis is trying to get an arm triangle but Blade is defending well.
Blade pushes Dalis away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dalis gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Haer Dalis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

That kick from Dalis tenderised Blade's leg. Blade is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dalis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blade throws a body kick that misses.
Blade moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Blade misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Blade tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dalis attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Blade uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dalis.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Blade, right into the meat.
Blade throws a jab when Dalis was well out of range.
Blade throws a sloppy head kick and Dalis moves out of range easily.
Blade is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Haer Dalis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blade finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Blade tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dalis is able to avoid easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blade thuds his right hand into Dalis's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Dalis misses with a head shot. Blade uses the momentum to regain guard.
Dalis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blade swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dalis is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Blade escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dalis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Haer Dalis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Dalis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
