The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lickertwat steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ho.
Ho with a lazy takedown attempt
and Ho takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ho takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ho on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Lickertwat throws an overhand right that lands on Ho's shoulder, as Ho tries to avoid the shot.
Ho moves out of range of the strikes.
Lickertwat fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Ho misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lickertwat as he jumps to the side.

Ho takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lickertwat uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Lickertwat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ho manages to avoid it.
Lickertwat might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Lickertwat throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ho stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ho lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lickertwat circles away quickly and effectively.

Ho feints and as Lickertwat raises his hands in defense, Ho changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lickertwat takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Ho is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lickertwat pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Lickertwat breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ho keeps the fight on the outside.
Ho takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lickertwat tries to avoid it but Ho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lickertwat to the ground. Lickertwat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
