Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Niko Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Drank in my cup. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Niko Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Smith!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Smith scores with a leg kick.
Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt
and Smith counters with a series of strikes. Lee will be more careful next time no doubt.
Lee dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Lee's head and hops out.
Lee throws a leg kick

and Smith moves into the clinch.

Smith has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lee regains guard immediately.
Smith wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.
Lee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lee tries to get out of the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Smith stands up from Lee's guard - Smith perhaps looking for a knockout.
Smith takes one to the chin there.

and Smith counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lee!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Niko Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice elbow there by Smith.
Lee is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Lee is breathing heavily.
Smith working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Lee is rocked!
Smith looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Oh Lee is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
You get the feeling that Lee really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith with shots to the head and body - Lee looks very uncomfortable down there.

Smith unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Lee wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Smith celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
