Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Khalifman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karsten Feigel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feigel defending well as Khalifman loads up on a big left hand.
Khalifman getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Feigel tries to move into range but Khalifman moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Feigel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Alexander Khalifman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khalifman connects with a nice looking jab.
Khalifman throws a right and a left that Feigel avoids nicely.
Khalifman throws a series of punches but Feigel avoids them all with ease.
Khalifman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Feigel.
Nice straight punches there by Khalifman. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Khalifman.
Feigel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Khalifman throws a hook but Feigel blocks it.
Feigel shoots in looking for a takedown. Khalifman tries to sprawl out of it but Feigel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Khalifman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Khalifman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Feigel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Khalifman throws a right hand that Feigel ducks under and follows up with a left that Feigel also avoids with ease.

Feigel seems a little lost for a moment, as Khalifman dominates the positioning.

Khalifman creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Khalifman has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Feigel!
Khalifman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Feigel's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khalifman working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Feigel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khalifman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Khalifman is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Khalifman extends the arm and Feigel is forced to tap!
