Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Lollapalooza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uday Saeed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uday Saeed will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lollapalooza shoots in but Saeed avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Saeed throws a right and a left that Lollapalooza avoids nicely.
Lollapalooza shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Saeed pinned against the cage. Saeed gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Saeed fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Horrible takedown by Lollapalooza or perhaps it was just good defense by Saeed which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xavier Lollapalooza. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oooooh!!! Saeed has knocked Lollapalooza down with a huge combo! Saeed steps away and waves a wobbly Lollapalooza back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Saeed throws a nice looking combination but Lollapalooza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Saeed lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lollapalooza circles away quickly and effectively.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lollapalooza accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Saeed avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Saeed wants to get back to his feet but Lollapalooza is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lollapalooza throws an elbow that misses. Saeed uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lollapalooza's guard. Nice move by Saeed!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lollapalooza had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Saeed defends it easily.

Lollapalooza is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Saeed is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lollapalooza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saeed keeps working.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Saeed throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Lollapalooza's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Saeed dives in looking to finish as Lollapalooza flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Saeed's strikes! Saeed is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Lollapalooza's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Lollapalooza was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
