The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steinbrenner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Steinbrenner tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bukharin.
Bukharin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bukharin tries to get out of the position.
Bukharin regains full guard. Nicely done.
Bukharin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Steinbrenner manages to get himself to full guard.

Steinbrenner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bukharin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bukharin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steinbrenner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Steinbrenner can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bukharin controls the pace.
Bukharin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bukharin blocks the body kick.

and Bukharin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Bukharin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Steinbrenner's guard now.
Steinbrenner can't keep his opponent in guard - Bukharin advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bukharin moves into full mount! Steinbrenner won't be happy about that!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bukharin is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Steinbrenner has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Steinbrenner!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bukharin has his feet on Steinbrenner's thighs here. He's pushed Steinbrenner off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Steinbrenner screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
