Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johan Nickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Niaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Niaz has chosen Damn it feels good to be a gangsta as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niaz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nickson.
Nickson wants to clinch.
Nickson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Niaz.
Nickson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Niaz finds it's way round the side to connect with Nickson's head.
Nickson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Dick Niaz has been cut.

Niaz clinches with his opponent.

Nickson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Niaz swats away the attempt to clinch by Nickson.
Nickson tries to close the distance and clinch but Niaz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nickson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Niaz avoids it really well and circles away.

Niaz clinches up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Niaz is looking to break free of the clinch but Nickson has double underhooks.
Nickson lands a right hand.
Niaz is looking for a takedown.

Nickson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Nickson misses with a knee to the head.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Nickson obliges.
Nickson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Nickson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nickson stalks Niaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Niaz's face. Niaz staggers backwards, shaken.
Nice jab there from Niaz.

Niaz drives through and clinches with Nickson against the cage.

Niaz has had enough of the clinch but Nickson keeps him there for the moment.
Nickson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Niaz lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Niaz is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Niaz wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Nickson.

That has opened up Dick Niaz's cut even more.
Niaz is trying to push Nickson away but Nickson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Niaz tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nickson's elbow.
Nickson lands a nice knee to the body.

Nickson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nickson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nickson shoots in for a takedown but Niaz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nickson wants to clinch up but Niaz keeps it at a distance.
Niaz throws a wild hook but Nickson just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Niaz gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Nickson raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
