Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walt Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Bakreek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter comes to the cage accompanied by Emalkay - When I Look At You. Walt Potter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Walt Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Bakreek!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter shoots in looking for a takedown. Bakreek tries to sprawl out of it but Potter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bakreek manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bakreek misses with a series of wild punches.

Bakreek stuffs the takedown attempt from Potter. Potter gets slowly back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Potter enables Bakreek to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Potter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Walt Potter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bakreek paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Bakreek is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Potter defends it well.
