Payne's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, My Name is Major Benson Winifred Payne . Brock Lesnar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Payne did well to prevent Lesnar getting side control.
Payne is trying to stand up here but Lesnar is controlling him well.
Payne misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Lesnar winds up and cracks Payne with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Major Payne has been cut.
Lesnar working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Payne tries to kick Lesnar off but Lesnar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
