Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kawasaki Dojo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ten Sixteen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawasaki Dojo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kawasaki Dojo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ten Sixteen!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sixteen lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Dojo throws a nice looking combination but Sixteen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dojo tries to bum rush Sixteen with a series of wild strikes but Sixteen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dojo swinging wildly here.
Sixteen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dojo. That did some damage!
Dojo throws a right hand that Sixteen ducks under and follows up with a left that Sixteen also avoids with ease.

Dojo throws a lazy head kick
and Sixteen counters with a good low kick that Dojo was not able to check.

Sixteen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dojo was covering up waiting for the punch and Sixteen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sixteen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sixteen advances to half guard.

Sixteen is working for a kimura but Dojo is defending it quite comfortably.
Dojo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dojo is defending against the submission attempts here by Sixteen.

Sixteen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dojo sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sixteen stops Dojo from getting back to his feet.
Sixteen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Sixteen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dojo!
Dojo wants to try and get back to his feet.

Sixteen looking to finish Dojo with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dojo!
Sixteen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Sixteen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Dojo?
Dojo is squirming around, avoiding Sixteen's attempts to control the action.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dojo is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Sixteen locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Dojo is forced to tap!
