The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aalto stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Aalto shoots in and drives through. Fish sprawls well.
A cross from Fish lands.
Fish misses with a jab to the body
and Aalto counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Aalto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fish.

Tuna Fish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aalto throws a poor cross that misses
and Fish counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Aalto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fish manages to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fish. Aalto does a little dance to reset his feet.

Aalto lands with a hook. Fish tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Tuna Fish has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fish scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Fish has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fish there as he acknowledges the shot.

Fish moves out of range as Aalto strikes.
Aalto connects with a crisp jab.

That has opened up Tuna Fish's cut even more.
Fish throws a jab when Aalto was well out of range.
Fish is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aalto.
Sloppy strikes from Aalto. Those never looked like landing.
Aalto is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Fish tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aalto was well out of range. Poor timing from Fish.
Aalto looks to throw the jab but Fish is out of range.
Aalto shoots in but Fish avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fish throws a combination that misses
and Aalto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Aalto thuds a left hand into Fish's body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fish uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aalto.
Aalto shoots in looking for a takedown. Fish tries to sprawl out of it but Aalto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fish manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eljas Aalto. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fish throws a body punch but Aalto moves out of range.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Aalto is defended easily by Fish.
Fish bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Aalto, as that shot connected.

The cut above Tuna Fish's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fish looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fish just misses with a punch to the body.
Fish steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Aalto.
Aalto throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Aalto on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A big left from Aalto misses.
Fish keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Aalto.
Some wild striking there from Aalto.
Fish misses with a hook.
Fish walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fish throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Aalto moves out of range of the strikes.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Aalto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fish.
Aalto is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fish.
Fish slips under a jab.
Fish lands with a cross.
Aalto is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Aalto moves out of range of the strikes.
Aalto uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fish has time to react.

Tuna Fish's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tuna Fish's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
