Reilly kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Trouble Man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adrian Blackwell!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwell dodges the punch combination from Reilly.
Blackwell slips a straight right by Reilly.
Blackwell throws a head kick that misses.
Blackwell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reilly looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Reilly misses with a jab, cross combination.
Blackwell throws a series of strikes that have Reilly backpedaling.


It looks like Bobby Reilly has been cut.
Blackwell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blackwell throws a sloppy head kick and Reilly moves out of range easily.
Reilly fails with an attempt to clinch.
Blackwell misses with a head kick.
Blackwell closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Blackwell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Blackwell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Reilly. Reilly obviously looking to wear him down.

Horrible takedown by Blackwell or perhaps it was just good defense by Reilly which made him look bad.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Blackwell seems a little lost for a moment, as Reilly dominates the positioning.

Reilly decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Reilly throws a right hand that Blackwell ducks under and follows up with a left that Blackwell also avoids with ease.
Blackwell misses with a head kick.
Reilly has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Reilly.
Blackwell sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Reilly tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Blackwell looking for submissions off his back.
Still in half guard, Reilly seems content to control.

Blackwell is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Reilly pulls his head out easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reilly is pressing down on Blackwell's thigh, looking to free his foot. Blackwell is holding on for now.

Reilly drops an elbow to the side of Blackwell's head.
Reilly is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Reilly is nestled in close to Blackwell, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Blackwell is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Reilly pulls his head out easily.
Reilly controlling the pace.
Reilly scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Blackwell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Reilly tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Blackwell.

Blackwell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Reilly is looking to advance position but Blackwell won't allow it.
Reilly takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Reilly stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Blackwell to get to his feet.
Blackwell swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Reilly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Reilly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blackwell manages to avoid it.
Reilly doesn't manage to clinch there - Blackwell circles away.
Blackwell misses with a few strikes there.
Blackwell blocks a leg kick.
Blackwell fails to land with a series of punches.
Reilly throws a right hand that Blackwell ducks under and follows up with a left that Blackwell also avoids with ease.

Reilly clinches up with Blackwell and pushes him back against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Blackwell tries to circle away but Reilly has him pinned against the cage.

Blackwell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Reilly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Blackwell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Reilly lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Reilly stalks Blackwell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blackwell's face. Blackwell staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Adrian Blackwell has been cut.
No joy there for Reilly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Reilly does no damage.
Blackwell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Reilly with a nice cross.
Reilly tries to clinch but Blackwell is having none of it.
Reilly throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Blackwell's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Reilly dives in looking to finish as Blackwell flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Reilly's strikes! Reilly is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Blackwell's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Blackwell was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby Reilly!
Bobby Reilly bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
