Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenart Holmberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmberg scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Holmberg's corner calls for a 1-2. Holmberg obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rambo misses with a few strikes there.
Rambo avoids the head kick by Holmberg.
Rambo fails with a takedown attempt.
Holmberg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rambo is looking to land body kicks.
A punch combination from Holmberg misses.
Rambo throws out a powerful jab.
A lazy body kick from Holmberg
and Rambo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rambo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Holmberg tries to bum rush Rambo with a series of wild strikes but Rambo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rambo shoots for a double leg takedown but Holmberg sprawls well. He's pushed Rambo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rambo shoots for a takedown but Holmberg saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Rambo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holmberg lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rambo backs up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Holmberg throws a sloppy head kick and Rambo moves out of range easily.
Rambo throws a series of punches but Holmberg avoids them all with ease.

and Holmberg counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rambo thinking.

Holmberg misses with a double jab.
A left and a right from Holmberg both land. Nice combination.
Rambo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rambo on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Holmberg throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rambo on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Holmberg throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rambo misses with a takedown
and Holmberg counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Holmberg throws a head kick that misses.
Holmberg connects with a right that clearly hurt Rambo. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Holmberg proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Rambo collapses and taps out under the pressure!
