Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Calypso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calypso's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jedi Mind Tricks - Genghis Khan . Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Slade Wilson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Calypso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Slade Wilson!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Calypso shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Calypso trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom.
Wilson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wilson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Wilson is trying to control. Calypso wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Calypso is looking to improve his position.
Wilson trying to mount his opponent but Calypso defends it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Calypso tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Wilson has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Wilson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Calypso tries to hold on but Wilson pushes him away.

Calypso is rocked!
Calypso is looking to improve his position but Wilson isn't that keen on the idea.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wilson landing strikes, looking to finish!

Wilson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Calypso turns into him and now he's in Wilson's guard.

Wilson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Calypso manages to get himself to full guard.
Calypso wants to sweep here but Wilson controlling him for the moment.

Calypso is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wilson defends well.
Calypso is trying to keep Wilson in close.
Wilson chips away with some ground and pound.

Calypso looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wilson won't allow Calypso to sweep him here.
Wilson trying to control but Calypso is working from the bottom.
Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Calypso swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Calypso is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Calypso will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Calypso is working hard here to advance position.
Wilson landing with the ground and pound.

Calypso has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wilson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Calypso.
Wilson wants to control for a moment but Calypso uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Calypso on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Calypso is trying to maintain the position but Wilson is very close to passing his half guard.

Wilson working over Calypso with some ground and pound. Calypso looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wilson slips a nice elbow through Calypso's hands, connecting with Calypso's forehead.
Wilson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Wilson is looking to take a break and control but Calypso is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wilson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Calypso slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson looking to sit in guard and control but Calypso gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Calypso tries to free his leg and advance position but Wilson is retaining full guard.
Wilson working a defensive guard but Calypso passes into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Slade Wilson dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Wilson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Calypso.
Wilson cracks Calypso with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Calypso is trying to maintain the position but Wilson is very close to passing his half guard.

Calypso looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wilson in particular looking to stall.
Wilson is keen to just control but Calypso is a slippery customer.
Wilson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Calypso is not content to let Wilson control the position.

Calypso gets back to full guard.
Slade Wilson has got the better of the ground game so far.
Wilson looking to pass the guard.
Wilson throws a big elbow that misses.
Calypso wants to sweep but no luck.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wilson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Wilson pushes down on Calypso's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Wilson is trying to control. Calypso wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Wilson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Wilson wants to control but Calypso is keeping him busy.
Calypso tries to roll over but Wilson keeps him under control.
Wilson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Wilson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Wilson lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Calypso! Wilson sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Calypso and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Slade Wilson!
