The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pride misses with a double jab.
Silva takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
No joy there for Pride, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pride scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silva walks into a left hand.

Silva drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Pride working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pride working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Pride is tightening it up a little... Silva has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Silva reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Silva taps out! Nice BJJ there by Pride!
