The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen fails with a takedown attempt.
Owen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Worley counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Owen tries to clinch but Worley is having none of it.
Worley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Owen is defended easily by Worley.

Owen clinches.
Worley prevents the takedown attempt.
Cody Worley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Owen.

Worley manages to break the clinch.
Owen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Owen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Worley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Owen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Worley throws a head kick that Owen semi-blocks.

It looks like Josh Owen has been cut.
Owen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Worley throws out the jab.
Josh Owen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Owen shoots in looking for a takedown but Worley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Owen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Owen fails to land the takedown.

and Worley counters with a left and a right... And another left! Owen is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
