The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parry feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Wei wants to improve his position but instead Parry has moved into half guard.

Parry takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Parry moves nicely into side control.
Wei wants to get back to his feet but Parry is dominant here and he's now got Wei's back!
Parry controlling the position well here. Wei rolled but Parry kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
