Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Houston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hank Houston told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Smith bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Houston wants to get back to his feet but Smith drags him back down.
