The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang tries for a takedown but Wallace circles away easily
enabling Wallace to counter with a crisp jab.
Wallace throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Yang counters with a single leg into guard. Wallace didn't expect that.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Yang keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wallace's head.
Yang controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Yang is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Yang wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position.

Wallace takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Wallace is landing with some decent strikes but Yang is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wallace cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Yang displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wallace throws out the jab.

Antoine Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richie Yang.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
