Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoine Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace has chosen Pray by Jay-Z feat. Rob Dougan as his entrance music. Antoine Wallace struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Antoine Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatsuhiko Jr blocks a jab.
Wallace takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wallace jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tatsuhiko Jr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wallace.
Tatsuhiko Jr throws a big shot that misses.
Wallace connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Wallace takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Tatsuhiko Jr closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Wallace is not content to let Tatsuhiko Jr control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tatsuhiko Jr is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wallace is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Tatsuhiko Jr is working for a kimura but Wallace is defending it quite comfortably.

Tatsuhiko Jr is keen to just control but Wallace is a slippery customer.

Tatsuhiko Jr is taking a breather. Wallace says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Wallace has hold of Tatsuhiko Jr's hands but Tatsuhiko Jr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Tatsuhiko Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallace sprawls well. He's pushed Tatsuhiko Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wallace is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tatsuhiko Jr.
Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tatsuhiko Jr pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wallace is out of range and Tatsuhiko Jr settles back down.

Tatsuhiko Jr throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wallace was covering up waiting for the punch and Tatsuhiko Jr finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Tatsuhiko Jr is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wallace is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wallace has escaped and now he's on top!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wallace takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wallace works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - Wallace looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tatsuhiko Jr throws the left hand but Wallace avoids the punch easily.
Wallace has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tatsuhiko Jr.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr will probably get the nod.

Wallace fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tatsuhiko Jr manages to avoid it.
Tatsuhiko Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Wallace tries to sprawl out of it but Tatsuhiko Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wallace manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wallace might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Wallace lands with an uppercut that bounces Tatsuhiko Jr off the cage and back into range.

Tatsuhiko Jr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wallace's waist but Wallace gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tatsuhiko Jr off to one side.
