Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heath Ledger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ledger is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Machine Head by Bush. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Heath Ledger!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall stalks Ledger and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ledger's face. Ledger staggers backwards, shaken.
Ledger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hall pinned against the cage. Hall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ledger tries to bum rush Hall with a series of wild strikes but Hall uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A jab from Hall misses.
Hall paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ledger gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ledger looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Ledger trying to control from Hall's half guard. Hall has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Ledger stands up from Hall's guard - Ledger perhaps looking for a knockout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hall scores with the left hand. Ledger knows he should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hall lands a jab to the head.
Ben Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Hall throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A punch combination from Hall misses.
Nice uppercut lands for Hall. That snapped Ledger's head back.
Hall throws a nice looking combination but Ledger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ledger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ledger wants to control but Hall is keeping him busy.
Ledger is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hall has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hall wants to get back to his feet.
Hall sneaks back into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hall wants to control but Ledger is keeping busy.
Ledger is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hall has managed to free his arm - good work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hall makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hall.
Ledger is posturing up here but Hall has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ledger tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ledger has to tap! Slick submission there by Hall!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ben Hall!
A very excited looking Ben Hall rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
