Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tiff Udiah!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez misses with a low kick.
Rodriguez slaps away a takedown attempt from Udiah, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Udiah dives in and grabs Rodriguez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rodriguez pushes down on Udiah's head and hops out.
Udiah checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Rodriguez stuffs the takedown.
Lucas Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tiff Udiah.
Rodriguez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No luck for Udiah with that takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Udiah or perhaps it was just good defense by Rodriguez which made him look bad.
Rodriguez scores with a jab to the body.
Udiah looks gassed!
Udiah shoots in but no luck this time.
Udiah on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rodriguez throws a leg kick but Udiah sees it coming and moves out of range.
Udiah shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodriguez tries to sprawl out of it but Udiah keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rodriguez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Udiah on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Udiah moves out of range as Rodriguez throws a body kick.
Tiff Udiah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodriguez throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rodriguez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rodriguez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rodriguez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Udiah stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Udiah blocks a head kick by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Udiah's hands.

It looks like Tiff Udiah has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rodriguez wants to slow Udiah down by chopping away at his legs.
Udiah takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Udiah is rocked!
Rodriguez catches Udiah with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Udiah forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
